CIMA and Fekra Events to launch Intensive filmmaking workshops in Saudi Arabia

CIMA and the Fekra Events company in Saudi Arabia are launching a joint project – a series of the Workshops for beginners – CIMA Intensive Filmmaking Workshops, which will be trained from March 22 to February 22, 2019. The events will take place in three main cities of Saudi Arabia – Jeddah, Al Riyadh and Al Khobar.

During the week, the participants will learn the basics of filmmaking and try themselves in various professional roles: scriptwriter, actor or director. At the end of the intensive training, graduates will receive certificates of completion of the Workshops, which will serve as a basis for the good start of their cinema career.

Students of the Filmmaking Workshops program will master the skills under the guidance of professionals: curator Mohamed Nader (direction) and lectors Ismail Mohamed Ismail Amin (scriptwriting), Mohamed Rahmo (acting).

Workshops program is geared toward students who have little or no experience in filmmaking, but who recognize that an intensive and demanding program will provide them with the knowledge they seek, and who are willing to push their creative abilities to the maximum.

CIMA welcomes also students who are undecided about which area of the film and television industry most appeals to them. No previous filmmaking experience is required; however, participants must work with self-discipline, energy and mutual respect towards each other.
